Oculus Rift & Two PSEye


Abstract

Allows for two PS3eye cameras to be used as one stereo camera with the oculus rift. Uses openframeworks for both the camera initialisation and the OculusSDK.

In this project I was investigating whether the Occulus Rift could be extended into a see-through augmented display using commodity hardware. The solution was to use two PlayStation Eye cameras.

This project therefore allows for two PS3eye cameras to be used as one stereo camera with the oculus rift. The project uses openframeworks for both the camera initialisation and the OculusSDK runtime environment.
